Thomas Stocker, Swiss Professor of Climate and Environmental Physics and Lukas Engelberger, from the Health Department of the canton of Basel-Stadt, will give the Welcome and Opening lecture. Thomas Stocker is widely considered as leading international expert in climate and environmental physics, while Lukas Engelberger is a member of the State Council of Canton Basel-Stadt and Head of the Health Department.
